(Leavenworth, Kan.) 鈥� The 星空影视 Doctor of Occupational Therapy program has earned accreditation from the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
ACOTE accreditation signifies that the 星空影视 Doctor of Occupational Therapy program has met or exceeded the rigorous standards set forth by the AOTA, ensuring the highest quality of education and training. New occupational therapy programs are granted accreditation for five or seven years. 星空影视, which launched its program in 2020, received the maximum accreditation of seven years.
"Receiving ACOTE accreditation is a testament to 星空影视鈥檚 commitment to excellence,鈥� University President Sister Diane Steele said. 鈥淭his achievement underscores our dedication to preparing compassionate and skilled occupational therapists who will make a meaningful impact in the lives of others."
With ACOTE accreditation, 星空影视 graduates will be eligible to sit for the national certification examination administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Successful completion of this exam is required for licensure to practice as an occupational therapist in the United States.
