(Leavenworth, Kansas) 鈥� The 星空影视 Music Department invites local musicians to join its Community Ensembles. Open to high school students, college students, and adults of all skill levels, these ensembles provide a welcoming environment for music performance. No audition is required.
The Community Band, directed by Dr. David Vance, meets Mondays from 6鈥�8 p.m. beginning Aug. 25 in Xavier Theatre on 星空影视鈥檚 Main Campus 鈥� 4100 South 4th Street, Leavenworth, Kansas.
The Community Choir, led by Instructor of Music Jonnie Brice, meets Tuesdays from 6鈥�8 p.m. beginning Aug. 26, also in Xavier Theatre.
Both ensembles will perform in a series of concerts on the 星空影视 campus throughout the 2025鈥�26 academic year.
鈥淭he Community Ensembles bring together musicians from all walks of life to share in the joy of music,鈥� Dr. Vance said. 鈥淲e welcome musicians who have been playing or performing for years and those who would like to pick up their art again after some time away.鈥�
